Obedient Hearts Kennels has been breeding German Shepherds and English Golden Retrievers for over 40 years. After tons of research and experience ( and a good backstory) we developed our Goldendoodle program 7 years ago. We pride ourselves on our careful selection of breeding lines and quality genetics for well-rounded, conformationally sound dogs. All of our litters are born in our home under constant supervision. We focus on extensive maternal care, neonatal support and early socialization to best prepare our puppies for their new homes. . All of this is a fancy way to say we love our dogs (they're our personal pets) and then we love on their pups even more, from the moment they're born and particularly through their crucial neonatal stage. Our dogs are part of our family and it is our goal to ensure their puppies find their perfect furever families as well.

Furthering our commitment to our dogs, we offer both in-person dog training at our country farm in Oklahoma and remote dog training for those of you who live further away. With decades worth of dog training experience, we can confidently and knowledgeably help you through any training or problem behaviors you may encounter.

Happy, Healthy Bloodlines

Our German Shepherd dogs are bred from Czech and West German working lines. We specifically select our breeding pairs for their good and excellent OFA scores. We breed for square hips, straight backs and loyal hearts. Our Shepherds make wonderful family dogs, driven protection dogs and everything in between. They are soft and playful yet loyal and intelligent.

Our Golden Retrievers are bred from English Cream breeding lines. They're soft, loving, and exceptional family dogs. They will give you the world for a belly rub and milk bone. If you're looking for the perfect addition to your young family, or a wonderful service companion, look no further. One look into their deep, brown eyes will melt your heart.

Several Years ago, we happened upon owning a litter of Golden Doodles through the purchase of a female Golden Retriever we sought to add to our program. We were asked to train several of the puppies longer term. It was our first honest, real, and consistent dealings with the famous "doodles" and we were overly impressed with their intelligence and disposition and trainability. We've been breeding them ever since. We strive to not overbreed, and we breed on purpose to support our commitment, to health, brains, beauty and heart!

Our dogs are our family and we are dedicated to ensuring their puppies find a loving furever family of their own. Selecting a puppy for your family is as exciting for us as it is for you. It is also a very important decision. We are here to help you every step of the way. We know our puppies -- their individual personalities, their dispositions, and, most importantly, what families they will fit into best. We will try our best to match your family with a puppy that will fit seamlessly into your lifestyle.

When you're ready to choose your furever friend, we encourage you to stop by often and play with the puppies! Take your time. Get to know the puppies, observe their different personalities, and then let us know which one wiggles its way into your heart the furthest. Sometimes our puppies pick us before we even have a chance to pick them.

Health Guarantee

Obedient Heart Kennels offers a one year health guarantee on all our puppies. We do all we can to eliminate any known health issues in our breeding program. Our breeding dogs are completely health tested, clear for all genetic and hereditary conditions, and AKC registered. We take excellent care of our pups through the first critical weeks of their lives to give them the best possible start. Our adult dogs are family and we treat them that way!

We will provide plenty of information for you to continue with the best possible health care, diet, and age-appropriate exercise. We are here to help should you have any questions along the way, be it health, behavior, or training. We offer reduced training rates for owners of our puppies. We put a lot of effort into our dogs so that you can enjoy a healthy, loving life with them. We require "right of first refusal" should you ever decide to rehome your dog for ANY reason in the future.

Experienced Dog Training

Obedient Hearts Kennels is your premier dog trainer in Oklahoma. We have been training dogs for more than 45 years and would love to share our knowledge and experience with you! We have a loving and consistent but "no nonsense" approach to training that has worked for decades. We do NOT get caught up in the latest "fads" of training but are always open to improvements. Likewise, we are committed to ensuring you and your pup have the best life together possible. So, whether you need help housebreaking and transitioning your new pup into your home, or working through problem behaviors later in life, we are here to help!

We now offer two different kinds of training:

1. In-person dog training at our farm in Oklahoma. Come see us and let us help you work through your training together, as a team

2. Online, remote dog training. Sometimes problem behaviors are best observed from a distance, as a fly on the wall. Or driving to our facility is not an option. Either way, let us help you remotely from the comfort of your own home.
